I so rarely come face-to-face with others in this age… they have either worked hard towards their blessing or they have committed a great sin. Which are you?
Lux is an Aethus Dragon. Worshiped by all the dragons clans for their power, otherworldly aura and ability. They are considered to be an untouchable god, with only their Emirais visible to people on a daily basis. Incredibly close with all the other Aethus dragons, they appear to be distant and ephemeral, very rarely staying visible or around others for a long time. They're the oldest of the three Gods, and a lot of their history is shrouded in more mythology and rumour than fact.
After watching the other two gods lose their emotions and powers, and become almost outcasted by other dragons, Lux has spent their time looking into the events. They mourn the loss of love from their closest friends and lovers, hoping to be able to free them from their shackles soon.
Close with their Emirais, as well as the other Emirais, they find comfort in the knowledge that they have allies hunting for a solution and taking care of their loved ones.
Important Features
- Long, slightly curled up horns, that are gold.
- Instead of hair, they have what appears like flames on top of their head in shades of gold.
- Had bright gold and aqua feathers around their face, with very long golden whiskers.
- Eyes are bright gold, with orange around the sharp, slitted pupils. Sclera is almost black.
- Their ears are long and pointed.
- Has sharp upper and lower canines.
- Is tall with a toned, muscular body.
- Has shades of blue, gold and aqua scales all over their body, as well as thick scaled plating along the top of their arms and thighs.
- Feet and hands have bright blue claws.
- Has a long, dark blue, scaled tail with golden markings, and a long, jagged crystal tip in shades of light blue.
- Has large, webbed, dragon wings, they're dark blue with gold, blue and aqua markings, the membrane is dark blue but has a starry look to it.
- Props for them would include the circlet they wear on their head, feathers, stars and other celestial symbolism. They have a carved charm that bears a hibiscus and heart symbol, that allows them to stay connected to the other Aethus dragons. Can also be seen with temple offerings. Clothes are normally very loose and flowy, they wear it mostly because its expected than any personal desire. When using their powers, a blue symbol appears over their head.
- Poses are normally incredibly graceful, ethereal and otherworldly, they float whenever travel, they move as though they're dancing and they have a highly powerful aura to them. Though with those they are very close with, they can sometimes show an energetic, jovial side. Normally only seen doing their work as an Aethus dragon, or granting wishes, is otherwise very hard to contact or see face-to-face.
- Expressions are normally gentle, benevolent smiles, they keep up a strong god-like appearance with most people, and try to show kindness and care towards others. When with those they truth, they are far more honest, laughing, making jokes, and being more outgoing. Though it's hard to make them mad, when they are they turn chilling, cold, and expression-less. It's very rare they show themselves to others without a smile.
- Can be drawn with anyone in Dracaia, they are close with all the other Emirais and the other Aethus dragons, so often finds them the only dragons they frequently show their face to.
- Used to be romantically involved with the other Aethus dragons, Cassiopeia and Hjärtia, before they were made emotionless. Their relationship is complex now, having not been able to connect in a while. They miss the other two a great deal and mourns what they've lost.
The temples of the dragons are spread out over Dracaia, and the roads to visit them are dangerous and long.
Dracaia is a realm with dragons as the ruling class, all creatures pray to the three Aethus Dragons who offer protection and guidance to those who earn their gifts. Each Aethus Dragon has their own temple, themed individually and scattered over the land. Other creatures, such as unicorns, griffins and mermaids exist, though their status falls lower than that of dragons, regardless of their power. With a wide range of biomes, the beasts of Dracaia have grown varied.
The three temples of the Dragons are the eastern Hibiscus Temple, a beautiful white temple with intricate dragon decoration and a long bridge that connects it across a deep ocean. The northern Celestial Temple, with a tower that stretches up to the heavens and is surrounded by stars and gold gilding. Then the western Heart Temple, which is a dark stone castle, with terrifying statues of dragons and monstrous figures guarding the gates. Each temple offers a 'specialisation' and is run by a God and their Emirais, or Priest.

Adrien works with Bella quite closely, practicing dance routines and creating music that will match her performance style. Though he is slightly over familiar with her and will sometimes receive threats in return. They've developed a teasing, playful relationship. Adrien likes getting her to come out of her shell and is trying to help her find comfort in other people's presence.
He also enjoys buying her new outfits, often dragging her out with him. Adrien has let Bella see into his mind so she has a good grasp over his feelings and how he struggles with himself and his upbringing. She shows signs of frustration at him hiding his struggles, but doesn’t bring it up. They very rarely discuss their pasts, he finds comfort in knowing she understands a similar upbringing and they fill their time with not thinking about their struggles.

Current
Adrien found his way to the Limbo Freak Show by chance. They were performing in town, to offer solace to the people during a hard economic hit. When he saw their show he saw a chance to escape from the life he'd been caged to. They saw his interest and saw something in him that was seeking freedom. He agreed to join them and travel to help bring light to other people.
He became their musician and choreographer. The Show has given him a sense of family and he's coming out of his shell a lot, finding comfort in their company.
History
Adrien was born to two musical geniuses. Isabella and Mateo Giovanni de Luca. The atmosphere he grew up in was suffocating and very strict. His oldest sister, Maria, grew to be cruel and unpleasant as well. Both Adrien and his younger sister, Ani, were struggling under their parents. Neither wanting to be constricted to their parent's plan for them. Even from a young age, Adrien has been very talented with instruments and music. The pressure of his parents made him avoid his responsibilities as much as possible in order to push back about it.
Becoming a little jaded and neglecting himself and his emotions, he tried to protect his sister as much as possible. When his father died, his mother grew even more controlling. Likely to help bring some more control into her life, that she believed she'd lost. When he realised she was going to lock him into a life he didn't want, he left home with no word to his mother or sister, only giving Ani a way to contact him.

Leaving home
Around the age of twenty, he finally managed to pull out from under his controlling mother. Not long after his father died and her treatment and personality worsened. This event helped him escape an abusive situation, and opened up his life for freedom and a chance to be comfortable in himself again.
Joining the show
Met and joined the freak show very soon after leaving home. Working a dead-end, boring job just to survive, he went to see them perform in the nearby town and was brought in by day/night, who saw a great deal of musical talent in him (As well as a lot of pain).
Reconnecting with his sister
A few years after having joined the freak show, he received word from his sister, Ani, that she was free from their parents and searching for her own direction in life. This event took a great deal of weight off his shoulders. Adrien is highly proud of his sister, and writes to her as much as he can.
