Cassiopeia is an Aethus Dragon, worshiped by all the dragon clans of Dracaia. Known for her power, grace and ability to grant wishes, she used to be a widely loved Goddess and was visited by dragons from all around the world. All coming to pray for favours, gifts or simply to ask her for guidance.
One day, however, she lost control of her emotions and her powers, going berserk. In her dragon form, she destroyed much of the realm, and caused a great calamity. To stop her, the dragon council stole her emotions and drained her powers, this left her an emotionless doll.
Isolated within her temple, she is somewhat imprisoned there, and only receives guests who request their wishes granted. She lost many of the following she used to have, who now fear or hate her. She is looked after now by her Emirais, Ephamiel, her Astrateller and Mikao who continue to help and care for her.
Important Features
- Eyes are ever swirling shades of blue, with sharp black pupils.
- Has white markings on her face, around her eyes and down her nose.
- Has dark purple horns on her head, they curl around and up, and the tips point upwards.
- Her ears are long and pointed.
- Hair is long and reaches down to her knees. She never puts it up.
- Has sharp upper and lower canines.
- For props, she is always seen with hibiscus flowers in her hair and clothes, prepared for her by her maidens every morning. Her clothing is always long and flowy, with a traditional, elegant look to them, and religious symbology. She has very few objects of personal value, these include a heart-shaped pink and purple gem, and a jar of star-dust. Can also be seen with temple items, prayer items, or offerings from visitors.
- Poses for her are normally very graceful but minimal energy. She almost always looks like she's floating when she moves or 'walks', and each movement is smooth and elegant. Incredibly regal and beautiful to witness. Doesn't move around a lot, and gestures are small, so is normally only seen walking too and from where she stays to greet visitors in her temple. Can be seen granting wishes, fulfilling her role as an Aethus dragon, and sitting down peacefully in the main hall.
- Expressions are minimal, she does not express herself often anymore and normally retains a neutral face. If she does smile, they do not reach her eyes, and are more a mimic of humanity and emotion. Shows no emotion anymore, and shouldn't be drawn expressing herself in movement or expression, unless its pre-punishment.
- Can be drawn with anyone in Dracaia, she is flat and emotionless towards all of them, despite having been very close with everyone prior to her punishment. She is well loved by them all.
- Can be drawn with her Emirais, Ephamiel, while he helps her around the temple and takes care of her. She holds little feeling towards him, but relies on him greatly to help her manage the temple.
The temples of the dragons are spread out over Dracaia, and the roads to visit them are dangerous and long.
Dracaia is a realm with dragons as the ruling class, all creatures pray to the three Aethus Dragons who offer protection and guidance to those who earn their gifts. Each Aethus Dragon has their own temple, themed individually and scattered over the land. Other creatures, such as unicorns, griffins and mermaids exist, though their status falls lower than that of dragons, regardless of their power. With a wide range of biomes, the beasts of Dracaia have grown varied.
The three temples of the Dragons are the eastern Hibiscus Temple, a beautiful white temple with intricate dragon decoration and a long bridge that connects it across a deep ocean. The northern Celestial Temple, with a tower that stretches up to the heavens and is surrounded by stars and gold gilding. Then the western Heart Temple, which is a dark stone castle, with terrifying statues of dragons and monstrous figures guarding the gates. Each temple offers a 'specialisation' and is run by a God and their Emirais, or Priest.

Cassiopeia relies a lot on Ephamiel to carry out work around the temple, and to work as a welcoming face to any visitors. Especially as most are scared of her now. Along with his temple duties, and his role as an Emirais, he assists Cassie with basic care. As she is doll-like, her self care, and basic routines are helped along by others, who make sure she is fed and clothed.
Though they don't have much of a personal connection, on account of Cassiopeia's lack of emotions and will, there is a great deal of affection from Ephamiel who is greatful to her for saving him, as well as giving him a home, and he is well trusted to carry out his role and protect her. He is very respected amongst the Emirais.

Current
Adrien found his way to the Limbo Freak Show by chance. They were performing in town, to offer solace to the people during a hard economic hit. When he saw their show he saw a chance to escape from the life he'd been caged to. They saw his interest and saw something in him that was seeking freedom. He agreed to join them and travel to help bring light to other people.
He became their musician and choreographer. The Show has given him a sense of family and he's coming out of his shell a lot, finding comfort in their company.
History
Adrien was born to two musical geniuses. Isabella and Mateo Giovanni de Luca. The atmosphere he grew up in was suffocating and very strict. His oldest sister, Maria, grew to be cruel and unpleasant as well. Both Adrien and his younger sister, Ani, were struggling under their parents. Neither wanting to be constricted to their parent's plan for them. Even from a young age, Adrien has been very talented with instruments and music. The pressure of his parents made him avoid his responsibilities as much as possible in order to push back about it.
Becoming a little jaded and neglecting himself and his emotions, he tried to protect his sister as much as possible. When his father died, his mother grew even more controlling. Likely to help bring some more control into her life, that she believed she'd lost. When he realised she was going to lock him into a life he didn't want, he left home with no word to his mother or sister, only giving Ani a way to contact him.

Leaving home
Around the age of twenty, he finally managed to pull out from under his controlling mother. Not long after his father died and her treatment and personality worsened. This event helped him escape an abusive situation, and opened up his life for freedom and a chance to be comfortable in himself again.
Joining the show
Met and joined the freak show very soon after leaving home. Working a dead-end, boring job just to survive, he went to see them perform in the nearby town and was brought in by day/night, who saw a great deal of musical talent in him (As well as a lot of pain).
Reconnecting with his sister
A few years after having joined the freak show, he received word from his sister, Ani, that she was free from their parents and searching for her own direction in life. This event took a great deal of weight off his shoulders. Adrien is highly proud of his sister, and writes to her as much as he can.
