Genesis is a half-breed Alisbre and Oscurna. Their parents fled from Sanctus when they were being created. Their Alisbre parent died to help them escape and they were taken to a Vitascan Enclave in order to be raised in seclusion and safety.
Their eyes were hidden by their parents illusion magic, in order to keep them from being discovered, and their masks were buried to stop them being found. They lived in peace and comfort for a great many years as Genesis was growing up, they hid their past and got to be happy and comfortable as a family.
They greatly love their parent and often wonder if there’s any way to heal the rift between both sides. Though it seems impossible, when they hear of the cruelty and anger present.
Important Features
- Feet are hooved with two toes, they're white with gold gilding.
- Face is sometimes covered with a pale winged mask, with blue eyes over it, gold markings and dark brown speckles.
- Has five eyes on their face, three are light blue and two are darker blue. All have no pupils.
- Hair is long and very dark, almost black, with gold highlights. It's pulled back into a ponytail and braids.
- Has a long brown tail, with an almost spade-like tip at the end.
- Androgynous body shape, looks around sixteen years-old and is fairly thin with slightly chubby cheeks.
- Has two sets of wings. front pair are half webbed and half feathered, the arms are brown with light grey claw, membrane is grey, and the feathers are light grey with dark brown speckles.
- Back pair of wings are fully feathered and are silvery-brown, with golden markings and light blue and dark blue eyes in their feathers.
- Props for them is their mask, which they gain later on in their life after their parents' disappearance. Has very few possessions, which include their mask, an old journal their parent left behind, as well as their parent's winged mask that they found. Can be seen with symbology from either race due to being a half-breed.
- Poses are exploring, travelling and trying to track where their parent might have gone off to. Before their parent is captured, they are glamoured to hide their multiple eyes and do not wear a mask. Very kind, brave and committed, they stand tall though hide a lot of inner fear, so can be drawn battling with fear and worries, or crying in loss.
- Expressions are often hidden behind their mask, but when they are not wearing it, they are surprisingly expressive. They try to show kindness and positivity, attempting to hide more negative emotions, but they wear their heart on their sleeve so are more expressive than they'd like. Can be drawn crying, laughing, smiling or scared. Often smiles, but has a child-ish manner, especially when happy.
- Can be drawn with their living parent, Omi, either before their capture where they're very close and loving, or after their capture where they're injured, chained, and scared.
- Can be drawn with anyone else from war of choices, their relationships with others differ depending on who it is. They are often seen with suspicion or open disgust, due to being a half-breed.
A world torn apart by war and cruelty, Vanneth is a beautiful land of beautiful beasts and locations as high as the clouds.
Vanneth is a land of tall mountains, waterfalls and lush forests and plant-life. It's a picturesque land with creatures that have no equal, often decorative and luxurious. This beautiful land is torn by a war between two sects. The Sky Castle, a beautiful golden winged home, which is the seat of the Vitascan. It sits at the very top of a mountain, surrounded by clouds and is almost impossible to see most of the time.
It's enemy lies within the High Sanctum, an intricate capital with a masque statue, the home to the Oscurna. It rests in a valley, surrounded by waterfalls and lush rainforests, and its reach is far further than imagined. Though this land looks peaceful and incredible, it hides ruins of war, and the destruction of people and their livelihoods under gold gilding.

Adrien works with Bella quite closely, practicing dance routines and creating music that will match her performance style. Though he is slightly over familiar with her and will sometimes receive threats in return. They've developed a teasing, playful relationship. Adrien likes getting her to come out of her shell and is trying to help her find comfort in other people's presence.
He also enjoys buying her new outfits, often dragging her out with him. Adrien has let Bella see into his mind so she has a good grasp over his feelings and how he struggles with himself and his upbringing. She shows signs of frustration at him hiding his struggles, but doesn’t bring it up. They very rarely discuss their pasts, he finds comfort in knowing she understands a similar upbringing and they fill their time with not thinking about their struggles.

Current
Adrien found his way to the Limbo Freak Show by chance. They were performing in town, to offer solace to the people during a hard economic hit. When he saw their show he saw a chance to escape from the life he'd been caged to. They saw his interest and saw something in him that was seeking freedom. He agreed to join them and travel to help bring light to other people.
He became their musician and choreographer. The Show has given him a sense of family and he's coming out of his shell a lot, finding comfort in their company.
History
Adrien was born to two musical geniuses. Isabella and Mateo Giovanni de Luca. The atmosphere he grew up in was suffocating and very strict. His oldest sister, Maria, grew to be cruel and unpleasant as well. Both Adrien and his younger sister, Ani, were struggling under their parents. Neither wanting to be constricted to their parent's plan for them. Even from a young age, Adrien has been very talented with instruments and music. The pressure of his parents made him avoid his responsibilities as much as possible in order to push back about it.
Becoming a little jaded and neglecting himself and his emotions, he tried to protect his sister as much as possible. When his father died, his mother grew even more controlling. Likely to help bring some more control into her life, that she believed she'd lost. When he realised she was going to lock him into a life he didn't want, he left home with no word to his mother or sister, only giving Ani a way to contact him.

Leaving home
Around the age of twenty, he finally managed to pull out from under his controlling mother. Not long after his father died and her treatment and personality worsened. This event helped him escape an abusive situation, and opened up his life for freedom and a chance to be comfortable in himself again.
Joining the show
Met and joined the freak show very soon after leaving home. Working a dead-end, boring job just to survive, he went to see them perform in the nearby town and was brought in by day/night, who saw a great deal of musical talent in him (As well as a lot of pain).
Reconnecting with his sister
A few years after having joined the freak show, he received word from his sister, Ani, that she was free from their parents and searching for her own direction in life. This event took a great deal of weight off his shoulders. Adrien is highly proud of his sister, and writes to her as much as he can.
