Zione is a monster, a creature that has physical mutations that sets them apart from other beings within Spirita. They fought in the war as a child, and survived where many others were massacred. Out of fear of being hunted, they went looking for a way to change their appearance so they would not be targeted again from humanity's fear and hatred.
Their search led them to a mask that was supposedly able to grant someone the appearance of a powerful mythical beast, beautiful and revered. When they put it on it took over their body and mutated them to look somewhat like a Chimera, with parts of revered beasts in their appearance.
With this new, feared appearance, they decided that instead of looking for a way to blend in and be what was wanted of them, they would use their appearance to demand and fight for equality. A particular enemy of Varendel and is quite an inspiring leader.

- Has a mask that's fused to their face, it's golden and has tusks on them, morphs into their normal face halfway.
- Hair is dark brown with gold highlights and is long and braided with beads that are shades of blue.
- Has ghostly, light blue antlers that are surrounded by a flowing white and blue aura.
- Wings are iridescent and shimmering blue with glowing, fiery red and yellow feathers.
- Arms are huge and monster-like, ending is large hands and sharp claws. White fur grows out of their arm, with gold markings and fur along the elbows.
- Has nine kitsune tails, they're pristine white with gold tips and highlights.
- Has kirin legs that are iridescent and shimmering blue scaled, with speckles of lighter shades. Plating and hooves are gold and has gold fur along the back of their legs.
- Props for them would be their mask, though they should always be wearing it, they can be drawn before putting it on, as well as weapons, and also has a bomber jacket that they can sometimes wear over their normal clothes. Can be drawn with anything one might need for a protest, rebellion or revolt.
- Poses are normally proud, confident and imposing, they play a role and make sure they seem as strong willed as possible. Pre-mask they're closed off, uncomfortable and nervous around others, terrified of going through the past again. Can be drawn fighting, protecting others, or in pain as they put on their mask and are transformed into their current form.
- Expressions are often hidden by the half mask on their face, though they often scowl and keep an emotional distance from others. When they're not fighting or dealing with humanity, they can be gentle and welcoming to others like them, or those they're comfortable around, even though the list is quite short.
- Can be drawn with everyone in Spirita, is fairly protective of the monster residents, and is somewhat of a guardian towards anyone stuck on the streets, though has a habit of keeping them at arm's length.
- Is somewhat closer to Liro, due to sharing a history and backstory with him.
- Can be drawn with Varendel, they despise him but are unable to get much concrete evidence of him being bad, they despise the smile he always treats them to.
The mistreatment of non-humans is written within the law, creating a divide that we are supposed to accept.
Spirita is a beautiful metropolis that houses a variety of people and creatures. It's gorgeous streets and incredible buildings cloak the inequality which is reinforced by the very law itself. A strict hierarchy controls the rights and freedoms of all people. Magic and anything non-human is seen with suspicion and disgust, often treated cruelly and are closely monitored by the government to keep them under control. Under the guise of a bastion of freedom, the darker side of Spirita is covered up by its leaders.
From the Monster Extermination, to the capture of the beast Prodigium, many events have pushed the image of non-humans further down the hierarchy and tightened the laws around their rights. One of the few points of pride for non-humans is the angel leader, Varendel, who fights for the rights of his people and any who are suffering with inequality.

Adrien works with Bella quite closely, practicing dance routines and creating music that will match her performance style. Though he is slightly over familiar with her and will sometimes receive threats in return. They've developed a teasing, playful relationship. Adrien likes getting her to come out of her shell and is trying to help her find comfort in other people's presence.
He also enjoys buying her new outfits, often dragging her out with him. Adrien has let Bella see into his mind so she has a good grasp over his feelings and how he struggles with himself and his upbringing. She shows signs of frustration at him hiding his struggles, but doesn’t bring it up. They very rarely discuss their pasts, he finds comfort in knowing she understands a similar upbringing and they fill their time with not thinking about their struggles.

Current
Adrien found his way to the Limbo Freak Show by chance. They were performing in town, to offer solace to the people during a hard economic hit. When he saw their show he saw a chance to escape from the life he'd been caged to. They saw his interest and saw something in him that was seeking freedom. He agreed to join them and travel to help bring light to other people.
He became their musician and choreographer. The Show has given him a sense of family and he's coming out of his shell a lot, finding comfort in their company.
History
Adrien was born to two musical geniuses. Isabella and Mateo Giovanni de Luca. The atmosphere he grew up in was suffocating and very strict. His oldest sister, Maria, grew to be cruel and unpleasant as well. Both Adrien and his younger sister, Ani, were struggling under their parents. Neither wanting to be constricted to their parent's plan for them. Even from a young age, Adrien has been very talented with instruments and music. The pressure of his parents made him avoid his responsibilities as much as possible in order to push back about it.
Becoming a little jaded and neglecting himself and his emotions, he tried to protect his sister as much as possible. When his father died, his mother grew even more controlling. Likely to help bring some more control into her life, that she believed she'd lost. When he realised she was going to lock him into a life he didn't want, he left home with no word to his mother or sister, only giving Ani a way to contact him.

Leaving home
Around the age of twenty, he finally managed to pull out from under his controlling mother. Not long after his father died and her treatment and personality worsened. This event helped him escape an abusive situation, and opened up his life for freedom and a chance to be comfortable in himself again.
Joining the show
Met and joined the freak show very soon after leaving home. Working a dead-end, boring job just to survive, he went to see them perform in the nearby town and was brought in by day/night, who saw a great deal of musical talent in him (As well as a lot of pain).
Reconnecting with his sister
A few years after having joined the freak show, he received word from his sister, Ani, that she was free from their parents and searching for her own direction in life. This event took a great deal of weight off his shoulders. Adrien is highly proud of his sister, and writes to her as much as he can.
